How to finish and display

These layered, laser-etched MDF pieces arrive ready for painting and light assembly. Use thin coats of craft acrylic paint and a white base coat for lighter colors; a small foam roller speeds coverage on larger areas. Some gluing is required for stands or layered sections—CA thick glue or super glue bonds MDF quickly. After painting and sealing, the mice work well as rustic mouse figurines in tiered tray Christmas vignettes, mantel displays, or clustered shelf sitters for farmhouse winter crafts.

Materials and care

All shapes are cut from MDF as specified in the listing and laser-etched for detail. Because the kit ships as unfinished wood shapes, protect painted finishes with a clear sealer if placing them on a covered porch or near humidity. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure. Handle pieces gently during assembly to preserve fine laser-etched lines and layered details.

What’s included

- Unfinished laser-etched MDF mouse pieces in seven designs as shown in listing photos

- Reference photo for painting inspiration (may be digitally enhanced)

- Stand pieces where applicable for shelf display

Gift and party ideas

Use these kits as handmade Xmas gifts, stocking-stuffer components, or coordinated sets for tiered tray decor. They are suitable for craft party supplies and family DIY holiday vignettes, including Friday night paint nights, classroom activities, or small group paint parties where guests paint their own mice to take home.
